as acd copywriter i wrote loads of comedic scripts for this campaign. the overarching strategy was created by my friends Steve Nass & Ben Salas.

Out of 100s of scripts only a few made it out before covid. whereupon ‘just ok‘ was considered to be ‘ok’ or ‘kind of great given the circumstances’, so the campaign was no more.

Fun fact: The cayman islands government called for a cease and desist to one of these spots. Can you guess which one?
